Franko Krajcar was born on 9th December 1967 in Pula. He is educated
in musical terms, and in 1987 he became a professional musician. From 1988
to 1999 he was living and playing in Switzerland. From 1999 to 2004 he was
collaborating with various musicians in Italy, Austria, Germany and the
Netherlands.
So far he was mostly reproducing somebody else's music,
and this album represents his first independent authorial attempt. In
Croatia he participated in a lot of projects related to music (for a period
of time he was an associate member of the Livio
Morosin Band) and he collaborated and played on albums from various
performers (mostly ethno and spiritual scene).
The album “Pensieri”
(ital. thoughts, reflections, remembrances, memories) is an ethno work, a
combination of electronics and ambiance, in which the author, at the same
time songwriter and singer, introduces ten songs, along with two
interpretations of traditional songs and one instrumental interpretation.
Since Krajcar plays on a large number of instruments (classical, as well as
traditional), most of the songs in this album were played by him.
A guest in the album, and at the same time the one most
of the songs were arranged by, is Mauro Giorgi.
His playing and the sound of his guitar give an additional intensity to the
ambiance expression. The producer of the album and the person who gave shape
to this musical expression is Denis Budim. The
executive producer and the person who gave direction to Franko Krajcar’s
musical story is Amir Bahtijarevic.

“Pensieri”
is the author’s attempt to introduce his a
bit melancholic, ethno and ambiance story in an original way. His wish is
for this album to find its little place on the Croatian musical scene.
